3 years agoWashington Football Team Pro Bowl offensive guard Brandon Scherff (knee) suffered a sprained MCL in the Week 4 win over the Atlanta Falcons and is likely to miss two to three weeks, according to a source. It's bad news for Washington's offensive line, but the good news is that Scherff could avoid a trip to Injured Reserve, which would require him to miss at least three weeks. With Scherff sidelined, Saahdiq Charles is the leading candidate to fill in as the team's starting right guard. This will be a downgrade for both quarterback Taylor Heinicke and Washington's ground game moving forward.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
