Courtland Sutton Should Be Needed More In Week 4
3 years agoDenver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton had a 20.8 percent target share in the Week 3 shutout win over the New York Jets, but that produced only five catches for 37 yards. It was a disappointment after Sutton went off in the Week 2 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Baltimore Ravens defense will give Denver a stiff test this weekend, but the good news is that Sutton will remain the top target for quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, who attempted a deep pass (20-plus yards) at the fifth-highest rate in the NFL through three weeks. Jerry Jeudy (ankle) remains out with a high ankle sprain, and KJ Hamler (knee) is done for the season. Sutton will have WR2 upside in a game that Denver should have to pass much more often.
