Anthony Firkser On Track To Return In Week 4
3 years agoTennessee Titans tight end Anthony Firkser (knee) practiced in full this week and is on track to return in Week 4 against the New York Jets after missing the last two games with a knee injury. Quarterback Ryan Tannehill has completed 79 percent (66 of 83) of his passes to Firkser since he took over as the starting QB in Week 6 of 2019. Firkser only caught three of four targets for 19 yards in the season opener, but he'll have a big opportunity to stand out this Sunday with both A.J. Brown (hamstring) and Julio Jones (hamstring) ruled out. There's no guarantee that the Titans go with a pass-heavy script against New York with both Brown and Jones out, but Firkser stands to benefit and could be a nice TE2 sleeper in deeper leagues and DFS games.
