D.J. Chark Jr. Likely To Need Season-Ending Surgery
3 years agoJacksonville Jaguars wide receiver D.J. Chark Jr. (ankle), who suffered a fractured ankle in the Thursday night loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, is likely to require season-ending surgery. It was obvious that Chark would be out for an extended period of time when he was carted off the field in significant pain on Thursday night on the first drive of the game. Fantasy managers can now safely drop Chark in single-year formats. Moving forward, Marvin Jones Jr. and Laviska Shenault Jr. should operate as Jacksonville's top two pass-catchers moving forward, with Jones more of a downfield threat and Shenault more of a short and intermediate target with yards-after-catch ability. Tavon Austin and Jamal Agnew will battle for looks as the No. 3 receiver.
