LaMonte Wade Jr. Suffers Knee Injury On Wednesday
3 years agoSan Francisco Giants outfielder LaMonte Wade Jr. (knee) was removed from Wednesday's game against the Arizona Diamondbacks. He injured his knee while making a diving play in the outfield. After the game, Giants manager Gabe Kapler said that he didn't have any major concerns about the injury, calling it a slight knee issue. He is being considered day-to-day. The Giants have encountered a number of injuries lately. Tommy La Stella (Achilles) is day-to-day and Brandon Belt (thumb) just landed on the injured list. On the bright side, Darin Ruf (oblique) is expected to be activated on Thursday and he may be thrust right into the starting lineup upon his return.
