Gerald Everett Placed On COVID-19 List
3 years agoThe Seattle Seahawks placed tight end Gerald Everett on the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Wednesday and promoted defensive tackle Robert Nkemdiche to the 53-man active roster in a corresponding move. Everett tested positive for the virus, so he may be more of a long shot to get clearance to play in Week 4 against the San Francisco 49ers. The 27-year-old had his best game in the Week 3 loss to the Minnesota Vikings, catching all five of his targets for 54 yards. He also scored in Week 1. If Everett doesn't play this weekend, Will Dissly would likely take over the primary pass-catching duties at tight end against the Niners. That would give him some upside as a TE2 for fantasy managers.
