Patrick Corbin Done For The Season
3 years agoWashington Nationals starting pitcher Patrick Corbin (finger) won't pitch again in 2021. He is dealing with a blister on his finger. The injury news came up after his start against the Colorado Rockies on Tuesday. He would have lined up to pitch in the team's final game of the season on Sunday, but manager Davey Martinez told the media that he didn't want to push it. Corbin had a rough season overall, going 9-16 with a 5.82 ERA and a 1.47 WHIP. At least he ended the year on a high note as he recorded a pair of quality starts in his last two outings.
