Scotty Miller Lands On Injured Reserve
3 years agoThe Tampa Bay Buccaneers placed wide receiver Scotty Miller (toe) on Injured Reserve with a severe turf-toe injury on Wednesday. Miller will be out for at least three weeks and possibly longer. The 24-year-old saw the field more in the Week 3 loss to the Los Angeles Rams with Antonio Brown on the COVID-19 list, catching his first two passes of the season for 11 yards. If Brown is forced to miss another game this Sunday night against the New England Patriots, Tyler Johnson would likely serve as the No. 3 receiver behind Mike Evans and Chris Godwin. Johnson would probably only be worth a look as a DFS sleeper if tight end Rob Gronkowski (ribs) is inactive or limited during the game.
