Broncos Defense Pitches A Shutout In Week 3
3 years agoThe Denver Broncos defense came into Week 3 against the New York Jets as the highest-projected defense for the week. Although they didn't finish the week in the top spot, they finished third (through Sunday's games) in the 26-0 blowout win. Denver's D sacked rookie quarterback Zach Wilson five times -- A.J. Johnson had two -- and picked off two passes. Through three games, this unit has been one of the best in the NFL despite not having pass-rusher Bradley Chubb (ankle). However, they also haven't faced much competition -- their opponents' combined record is 0-9 -- so things won't be this easy all season long. Still, Von Miller is looking like his old self and this defense should remain a strength moving forward as a weekly starting option for fantasy managers.
