Taylor Lewan Expected To Play Against Colts
3 years agoIndianapolis Colts left tackle Taylor Lewan (knee) practiced in full all week and wasn't wearing a brace on his injured knee at all. Head coach Mike Vrabel said he expects Lewan to play in Week 3 against the Indianapolis Colts after he injured his knee during warmups and was ruled out before the Week 2 game against the Seattle Seahawks. The three-time Pro Bowler had surgery on his ACL last year, and it's possible that his injury last week had something to do with scar tissue from his surgery. Lewan has missed 18 of a possible 34 regular season games since the start of the 2019 season, so injuries have become an issue for him. The Titans are hoping that Lewan can remain on the field and that he'll be better than he was in the Week 1 loss to the Arizona Cardinals as he tries to protect quarterback Ryan Tannehill's blind side.
