Teddy Bridgewater A QB1 Streamer Against Jets
3 years agoDespite what people may say about Denver Broncos quarterback Teddy Bridgewater and his reluctance to go deep down the field, he has thrown 18.6 percent of his passes 20-plus yards down the field through two games this season. He ranks second in completion percentage above expectation. It could be because of the poor talent that the Broncos have faced so far, but the good news is that Denver faces another great matchup in the New York Jets in Week 3. Bridgewater went for over 300 yards and two touchdowns in Week 2 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, and he should have the potential to put up another strong fantasy performance this Sunday, even without Jerry Jeudy (ankle). The 28-year-old has low-end QB1 streaming potential, but the Broncos also may not be forced to throw the ball all that often.
