3 years agoCarolina Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey (hamstring) is expected to miss a few weeks after straining his hamstring in the Thursday night win over the Houston Texans, according to sources. The Panthers continue to run tests on his hamstring, but they have no current plans to place him on Injured Reserve. Rookie Chuba Hubbard, who had 11 carries for 52 yards and three catches for 27 yards on Thursday, is the next man up and will be a very popular waiver-wire addition early next week with McCaffrey expected to miss some time. Royce Freeman should also mix in with Hubbard for however long CMC is out. McCaffrey was a huge disappointment due to injury in 2020, and those that took him No. 1 overall in fantasy drafts can only hope he'll be back sooner than later.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
