Josh Jacobs Still Not Practicing
3 years agoLas Vegas Raiders running back Josh Jacobs (ankle) did not practice on Wednesday. Head coach Jon Gruden said that Jacobs was "very questionable" for Week 3 against the Miami Dolphins after he sat out in the team's Week 2 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. A missed practice to begin the week is an ominous sign. Fantasy managers should consider him, well, very questionable to play this Sunday. If he misses another game, Kenyan Drake and Peyton Barber should be expected to once again share the backfield in a juicy matchup. Miami has allowed 227 rushing yards and three touchdowns and 13 receptions for 92 yards to RBs through two weeks. Drake saw 71.2 percent of the offensive snaps to Barber's 28.8 last week, but Barber out-carried Drake 13 to seven. Drake will be an RB3/flex in PPR leagues, with Barber being a flex in standard-scoring leagues, if Jacobs misses another contest.
