James O'Shaughnessy Lands On Injured Reserve
3 years agoThe Jacksonville Jaguars placed tight end James O'Shaughnessy (ankle) on Injured Reserve on Wednesday after he suffered a high ankle sprain in the Week 2 loss to the Denver Broncos. O'Shaughnessy will now be forced to miss at least the next three games. Through two games played in 2021, he has seven receptions on nine targets for 72 yards for the Jags. In the 29-year-old's absence, Chris Manhertz and Luke Farrell are the next men up at the position, with Jacob Hollister also in the picture. Fantasy managers can avoid the tight end picture in Jacksonville in the majority of the leagues. Rookie quarterback Trevor Lawrence is already going through growing pains and has struggled to deliver accurate passes to his receivers.
