Mookie Betts In Midst Of 12-Game Hitting Streak
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers outfielder Mookie Betts went 1-for-5 with an RBI in the team's 5-4 win over the Colorado Rockies on Tuesday. He has now recorded at least one hit in 12 consecutive games. Over the 12-game stretch, he's tallied two home runs, three doubles and nine runs scored. The Dodgers star is slashing .275/.377/.505 with 21 home runs, 10 stolen bases, 55 RBI and 84 runs over 111 games on the year. His 18.7% chase rate ranks in the 95th percentile and he also ranks in the 88th percentile in walk rate (12.4%). This year's arguably been Betts' weakest fantasy year since emerging as a fantasy stud in 2016, but he still remains an elite fantasy asset and he should be a first round pick in all fantasy drafts once again next spring.
