Laviska Shenault Jr. Expected To Be Able To Play In Week 3
3 years agoJacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Laviska Shenault Jr. (shoulder), who suffered a shoulder injury in the Week 2 loss to the Denver Broncos, is expected to be able to play in Week 3 against the Arizona Cardinals, according to head coach Urban Meyer. Shenault is expected to practice this week, so unless he suffers a setback with his shoulder, he should be good to go for Week 3. However, before his injury on Sunday, the 22-year-old had only two catches for minus-three yards on seven targets. Through the first two weeks, Shenault has just nine catches on 17 targets for 47 yards. Marvin Jones Jr. was the only receiver for the Jags that was productive in the loss to Denver. Jacksonville will be throwing a lot in 2021, but with rookie quarterback Trevor Lawrence going through growing pains, this receiving corps will be shaky on a weekly basis.
