Carson Wentz Dealing With Injuries To Both Ankles
3 years agoIndianapolis Colts quarterback Carson Wentz (ankles) is dealing with injuries to both of his ankles, according to sources. He is undergoing tests on Monday to determine the severity of the sprains that he suffered in the Week 2 loss to the Los Angeles Rams. Wentz rolled his right ankle pretty bad in the fourth quarter on Sunday, but it's unclear when he injured his left ankle. The Colts are saying that it's too early to tell if the 28-year-old will be ready for Week 3 against the Tennessee Titans after he completed 20 of 31 attempts for 247 yards with a touchdown and interception against the Rams. If you've been using Wentz as a QB2 in superflex leagues, you should make other plans in case he's ruled out. Jacob Eason entered the game for Wentz on Sunday and would be in line to start against a very generous Titans defense.
