KJ Hamler To See More Playing Time
3 years agoDenver Broncos wide receiver KJ Hamler is set to see more playing time with Jerry Jeudy (ankle) out for the next four to six weeks with a high-ankle sprain. Hamler saw four targets and played just 36.4 percent of the offensive snaps in the Week 1 win over the New York Giants. That translated to three receptions for 41 yards, and the second-year receiver's one drop could've been a 50-yard touchdown. Even with Jeudy out, Hamler might be the No. 4 pass-catching option for quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, but he should at least see more playing time and some more targets. Hamler is only rostered in seven percent of Yahoo leagues, but that number could skyrocket if he makes a few big plays in a nice matchup against the Jaguars in Week 2.
