3 years agoLos Angeles Angels outfielder Jo Adell (abdomen) was placed on the 10-day injured list with a left abdominal strain on Wednesday. Jose Rojas was recalled from Triple-A in a corresponding move. After the transaction, Angels manager Joe Maddon told reporters that he doubts Adell will play again this year. The 22-year-old had a much better showing in the majors in 2021 than he did in 2020. Over 35 games this year, he slashed .246/.295/.408 with four home runs, 26 RBI and 17 runs.
