Raheem Mostert To Have Season-Ending Surgery
3 years agoSan Francisco 49ers running back Raheem Mostert (knee) announced on his Twitter account on Tuesday that he would undergo season-ending surgery on his knee. He can now be safely dropped in all season-long fantasy leagues. Mostert was placed on injured reserve on Monday after he was diagnosed with a chipped cartilage in his knee. With Mostert now officially out for the year, Elijah Mitchell becomes an even more alluring waiver wire option this week. Mitchell, a sixth round pick this year, ran for 104 yards and a touchdown in his NFL debut last week. He's worth splurging on in all leagues, but deep league fantasy managers should also look to roster JaMycal Hasty and Trey Sermon as either could have significant value if Mitchell falters.
