Tim Patrick, KJ Hamler Will Be In Three-Receiver Sets
3 years agoWith Denver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy out four to six weeks with a high ankle sprain suffered in the Week 1 win over the New York Giants, receivers Tim Patrick and KJ Hamler will join Courtland Sutton in three-receiver sets in Week 2 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Tyrie Cleveland and rookie Seth Williams are candidates to be called up from the practice squad. Punt returner Diontae Spencer figures to work as the No. 4 wideout. Patrick and Hamler will both be attractive waiver-wire pickups this week. Patrick was the team's best pass-catcher in 2020 with Sutton injured, and he'll represent a decent WR4/flex with Jeudy out. Hamler is a speedy deep threat that will be more of a boom/bust flex receiver.
