3 years agoNew England Patriots rookie running back Rhamondre Stevenson (thumb) is not on the team's official injury report ahead of Week 1 against the Miami Dolphins despite recently suffering a dislocated thumb during practice last week. As a result, the fourth-round pick should be active for his first NFL game this Sunday. The 23-year-old rookie is very powerful at the point of attack and impressed on-lookers during the preseason. New England typically eases their young backs into the mix, but Stevenson figures to be in play on early downs with Damien Harris, which is why they traded Sony Michel to the Los Angeles Rams.
