Justin Jefferson Good To Go For Week 1
3 years agoMinnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson (shoulder) is no longer listed on the team's official injury report and should be good to go for the Week 1 season opener against the Cincinnati Bengals. Jefferson suffered an AC joint sprain in his left shoulder on Aug. 6 and was held out of the entire preseason as a result. But he has been practicing since Aug. 16 and looks to be fully healthy for the start of the regular season. Jefferson was extremely productive as a rookie with a 88-1,400-7 line on 125 targets last year, so the sky is the limit for him as long as he stays healthy. The Bengals defense was middle of the pack (ranked 16th) when they allowed 23.8 fantasy points per game to receivers. Jefferson earned must-start WR1 status with his incredible rookie season.
