A.J. Brown Misses Practice Wednesday
3 years agoTennessee Titans wide receiver A.J. Brown (knee) did not take part in the team's practice on Wednesday. The Titans could just be giving Brown some extra rest before the start of the 2021 regular season this Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals, but his practice participation is worth monitoring the rest of the week. If he's able to go, Brown is expected to start opposite new teammate Julio Jones in Week 1. The Cardinals weren't the greatest matchup for receivers last year -- they allowed 21.9 fantasy points per game to the position -- but Brown will be a must-start WR1 as long as he's active. The 24-year-old could see more competition for targets with Jones in the fold, but he posted his second straight 1,000-yard season in 2020 and had a healthy 10.1 yards per target, which ranked fourth in the NFL.
