Chris Godwin Not On Final Injury Report
3 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin (quadriceps) practiced in full on Wednesday and was removed from the final injury report for the season-opener on Thursday night against the Dallas Cowboys. Godwin was listed as limited on Tuesday, but the injury obviously isn't serious, and he'll be out there to kick off the 2021 season. The 25-year-old pass-catcher missed four games due to injury last year, but he averaged 10 yards per target and scored seven times in his 12 games. Tampa's offense is pass-heavy, but targets for Godwin remain somewhat of an issue with so many mouths to feed. Tom Brady is also notorious for spreading the football around. Regardless, Godwin will be a strong WR2 for fantasy managers against a Dallas defense that allowed the second-most fantasy points per week to the receiver position in 2020.
