3 years agoThe Seattle Seahawks placed tight end Colby Parkinson (foot), rookie cornerback Tre Brown and cornerback Nigel Warrior on Injured Reserve on Tuesday. Receiver Penny Hart and cornerback John Reid were promoted from the practice squad to the active roster. Head coach Pete Carroll said that neither Parkinson nor Brown are expected to be out for an extended period of time, and they'll be eligible to return from IR after just three games. Parkinson re-injured the foot that kept him out for much of his rookie season, so the Seahawks will be cautious with him early on. Luckily for Seattle, they have solid depth at the position, with Gerald Everett set to function as the starter.
