3 years agoThe Seattle Mariners placed outfielder Jake Fraley (shoulder) on the 10-day injured list due to right shoulder inflammation on Saturday. Relief pitcher Anthony Misiewicz (forearm) was also placed on the injured list. The team called up pitchers Wyatt Mills and Jimmy Yacabonis to fill the empty roster spots. Fraley had been really struggling at the plate over the last month. He slashed just .172/.254/.297 in August. However, he's shown some promising flashes this year. Over 62 games on the year, he has slashed .213/.359/.388 with nine home runs, nine stolen bases, 30 RBI and 23 runs. We don't know much in terms of the severity of his shoulder inflammation yet, but we should get a better idea of his expected recovery timeline soon.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
