Brandon Aiyuk To Sit Sunday Due To Slight Hamstring Issue
3 years agoSan Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk (hamstring) has a "slight hamstring" issue that will keep him out of Sunday's preseason finale, but head coach Kyle Shanahan said that Aiyuk should be fine next week. Fantasy managers shouldn't consider Aiyuk to be in danger of missing Week 1 of the regular season. The 23-year-old led the 49ers with 60 catches in his rookie season, and he also scored six times despite missing four games due to injuries and COVID-19 issues. San Francisco's No. 1 receiver will once again be one of the top receiving targets on the team and could see a fantasy boost if rookie quarterback Trey Lance takes over at any point in 2021. Aiyuk is currently being drafted as a low-end WR2 in standard 12-team leagues with an ADP among receivers at 22.8.
