3 years agoThe Chicago White Sox activated starting pitcher Carlos Rodon (shoulder) from the 10-day injured list ahead of Thursday's game against the Toronto Blue Jays. The team optioned infielder Danny Mendick to Triple-A in a corresponding move. Rodon is set to start Thursday's game and go up against Blue Jays starter Hyun-Jin Ryu. Rodon has been out since early August due to left shoulder fatigue. He is in the midst of a fantastic season. Over 19 starts, he's gone 9-5 with a 2.38 ERA and a 0.96 WHIP. In his last start before the injury, he struck out 11 Cubs over five scoreless innings. Fantasy managers can safely insert Rodon back into their lineups ahead of Thursday's game.
