Wil Myers Leaves Wednesday's Game With Hamstring Issue
3 years agoSan Diego Padres outfielder Wil Myers (hamstring) was removed in the ninth inning of Wednesday's game against the Los Angeles Dodgers. After the game, Padres manager Jayce Tingler told the media that Myers' removal was due to a "hamstring deal." He was replaced in the game by Jake Marisnick and the Padres went on to lose the game 5-3 in 16 innings. Tingler didn't expand further on Myers' injury so we really don't know much at this time, but it's likely nothing major. Myers should be considered day-to-day with a decent chance to play in Thursday's series finale against the Dodgers.
