Brandon Lowe Launches 30th Homer on Wednesday
3 years agoTampa Bay Rays infielder Brandon Lowe went 1-for-5 with a solo homer during a 7-4 win over the Philadelphia Phillies on Wednesday. He took Phillies starting pitcher Zack Wheeler during the fifth inning for his 30th HR of the season, a career-high. The 2019 All-Star is slashing .235/.340/.504 with 30 HR, 76 RBI, 77 runs, and six stolen bases across 421 at-bats. While the batting average isn't great, Lowe has been a steady source with counting stats and power all season long. He remains a strong option in all formats.
