Kyle Tucker Activated, Starting Against Royals
3 years agoThe Houston Astros activated outfielder Kyle Tucker from the injured list on Tuesday and he is in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Kansas City Royals. He's playing right field and batting seventh in the game, one spot behind Alex Bregman (quad), who is also making his return in the game. Tucker was placed on the injured list last week due to health and safety protocols. Upon his activation, the team placed fellow outfielder Chas McCormick (hand) on the injured list due to left hand soreness. The 24-year-old Tucker has had a fantastic season. Over 105 games, he's slashed .272/.334/.519 with 22 home runs, 11 stolen bases, 71 RBI and 58 runs.
