Davion Davis Suspended Two Games
3 years agoCleveland Browns wide receiver Davion Davis has been suspended without pay for the first two games of the 2021 season by the NFL for violating the league's policy on substances of abuse. Davis will be able to take part in the team's final preseason game this Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons, but he won't be eligible to return to Cleveland's active roster until Monday, Sept. 20, following their Week 2 game against the Houston Texans. The second-year wide receiver has a team-high 157 receiving yards in the team's first two preseason matchups, but the last time we checked, preseason numbers usually don't translate to regular season success. He's buried on the depth chart behind the likes of Jarvis Landry, Odell Beckham Jr., Donovan Peoples-Jones, Rashard Higgins, KhaDarel Hodge and rookie Anthony Schwartz.
