Cole Beasley, Gabriel Davis In COVID-19 Protocols
3 years agoBuffalo Bills wide receivers Cole Beasley and Gabriel Davis have landed in the league's COVID-19 protocols after being a close contact of a trainer that tested positive for the virus. Both Beasley and Gabriel Davis were sent home on Monday and tested negative, but they must remain away from the team for five days before they can return to the practice field. Neither player will be able to play in the team's final preseason game this Saturday against the Green Bay Packers, although Beasley probably wouldn't have played anyway. Beasley, 32, is just 5-foot-8 and 174 pounds and isn't very sexy in terms of fantasy, but he's a reliable chain-mover and is a trusted target for quarterback Josh Allen, which means something. He's more of a real-life asset, but Beasley can be passable as a bye-week fill-in and as receiver depth as a WR4/5 in full PPR leagues.
