Jose Berrios Logs No-Decision Versus Nationals
3 years agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Jose Berrios gave up three runs (two earned) over five innings versus the Nationals on Wednesday during the club's 8-5 loss. All the damage against him came in the first inning after Juan Soto took him deep for a three-run shot before he could even record an out, but he settled down after that and ended up with a no-decision. The right-hander finished the afternoon with five hits and three walks allowed while striking out three in the 88-pitch effort before the Nats blew the game open against the Jays bullpen. Berrios will take a 3.52 ERA and 1.10 WHIP into his next start versus a familiar opponent in the White Sox.
