K.J. Hamler Has A Big Game Against Vikings
3 years agoDenver Broncos wide receiver K.J. Hamler caught both of his targets, including an 80-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Drew Lock, and finished with 105 yards in the win over the Minnesota Vikings in the preseason opener last Saturday. Hamler's speed has impressed on-lookers during training camp, and he displayed that speed in the first preseason game. Keep in mind, though, that Courtland Sutton (knee) didn't play, and Jerry Jeudy played sparingly and had just three targets. The second-year wideout was inconsistent in 2020, but he showed some big-play ability at times while also dealing with nagging injuries. Hamler will be a boom/bust, late-round dart-throw in deeper leagues if Lock wins the starting gig for Denver.
