Rashaad Penny Back At Practice On Tuesday
3 years agoSeattle Seahawks running back Rashaad Penny (thigh) returned to practice on Tuesday. Penny was sidelined from practice last week with a thigh injury and he was unable to suit up for the team's first preseason game. Seahawks coach Pete Carroll told the media that the team is hoping to ramp up Penny's activities throughout the week with the goal for him to play on Saturday against the Denver Broncos. Penny is in the midst of a battle for the Seahawks' backup running back role behind Chris Carson. His primary adversaries right now are Travis Homer, DeeJay Dallas and Alex Collins. Penny should be considered the frontrunner for the backup role, but he isn't worth targeting in fantasy drafts outside the deepest of leagues.
