Eric Haase To Remain Out On Wednesday
3 years agoDetroit Tigers catcher/outfielder Eric Haase (back) will remain out for Wednesday's game against the Los Angeles Angels. Haase was a late scratch from Tuesday's game as he was dealing with lower back tightness. After Tuesday's game, Tigers manager A.J. Hinch told the media that he wasn't sure how long the injury would linger for Haase, but he did state that Haase wouldn't be playing in Wednesday's game. Haase has been a great find for fantasy managers looking for catcher help off the waiver wire. Over 70 games this year, he has slashed .238/.293/.512 with 19 home runs, 49 RBI and 40 runs. Grayson Greiner will be the team's primary catcher while Haase is out.
