Robbie Grossman Blasts His 18th Home Run
3 years agoDetroit Tigers outfielder Robbie Grossman helped the team complete a three-game sweep of the Baltimore Orioles on Thursday. He batted leadoff and went 2-for-5 with a solo home run. The home run was his 18th of the year. He is in the midst of the best power season of his career as his previous career-high in home runs was 11. Grossman is slashing .240/.362/.427 with 13 stolen bases, 54 RBI and 63 runs over 112 games on the year. He should be the team's primary leadoff hitter for the next week or so while Akil Baddoo (head) is sidelined, giving Grossman's fantasy value a nice short-term boost.
