Yasmani Grandal Goes 2-For-3 In His Rehab Debut
3 years agoChicago White Sox catcher Yasmani Grandal (knee) had a strong debut rehab outing at Double-A Birmingham on Wednesday. He went 2-for-3 with a walk and an RBI in the game. Grandal has been out since early July after undergoing surgery on his knee. Based on his productive Double-A debut, it's safe to assume that he'll be back with the White Sox within the next week or so. He's a must-roster catcher in just about all fantasy leagues, so if he was dropped after his injury, he's a great player to add. Over 63 games this year, he's slashing .188/.388/.436 with 14 home runs, 38 RBI and 42 runs. His 24.5% walk rate is the best in the majors amongst eligible players.
