Adley Rutschman Goes 2-For-4 In Triple-A Debut
3 years agoThe Baltimore Orioles announced that catcher Adley Rutschman would be promoted to Triple-A Norfolk this past weekend. He made his Triple-A debut on Tuesday and certainly didn't disappoint. He went 2-for-4 in the game, hitting a double and driving in a run. Defensively, he helped navigate a 4-0 shutout win, catching for three different pitchers, including starter Bruce Zimmermann who pitched five hitless innings. Rutschman recently became the No. 1 overall prospect in the majors with Wander Franco graduating from MLB Pipeline's Top 100. There's a chance we could see Rutschman in the majors this year, but with the Orioles sitting at 38-73, it's more likely that his MLB debut comes in 2022.
