3 years agoDenver Broncos quarterback Drew Lock has been named the starter for the team's preseason opener against the Minnesota Vikings on Saturday. Teddy Bridgewater will start the team's second preseason game against the Seattle Seahawks. Lock and Bridgewater are engaged in a close quarterback competition right now. The fact that Lock is starting the preseason opener indicates that he may have a slight step up on Bridgewater for the No. 1 quarterback job for now. Lock has also been getting some promising reviews from camp. Broncos offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur recently stated that he's seen the "best version of Drew Lock" so far at training camp.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
