Jalen Hurts Set To Start Preseason Opener
3 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts will start the team's preseason opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday. Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni spoke to the media on Tuesday to make the announcement. Sirianni didn't say how many drives Hurts would play in the game, but he said that Joe Flacco would come in after him and that Nick Mullens would finish the game. Hurts has received some mixed reviews from training camp so far. In scrimmages, he's made some bad throws, but he's also had some big runs. His running ability makes him an extremely enticing fantasy target, but he comes with some clear risk as he could find himself benched if he struggles with his throwing.
