Tim Patrick Dealing With Groin Injury
3 years agoDenver Broncos wide receiver Tim Patrick (groin) was held out of practice on Sunday with a groin issue, according to head coach Vic Fangio. "Nothing serious, but just taking the precautions," Fangio said. Receivers Diontae Spencer and Tyrie Cleveland were also held out with injuries. Patrick was also held out of practice last Friday with leg soreness, but his injuries shouldn't keep him out for much longer. We should have a better idea of where he stands from a health standpoint when the Broncos play the Vikings on Aug. 14 in their preseason opener. Patrick came out of nowhere with Courtland Sutton injured last season to post a useful 51-742-6 line, but he also finished under 50 yards receiving in the final six games. He will provide valuable receiving depth in Denver, but there might not be many targets for him in 2021 with Sutton back healthy.
