Justin Fields Slated For A Lot Of Preseason Work
3 years agoAccording to Chicago Bears head coach Matt Nagy, rookie quarterback Justin Fields is in line for a lot of work in preseason games, starting with this Saturday's game against the Miami Dolphins. Bears beat reporter Dan Wiederer reports that Nagy has been "emphatic" when stating that Fields will see a lot of preseason action. However, Wiederer also added that Nagy will need to assess the health and status of the team's offensive line before fully committing to Fields' workload. Veteran Andy Dalton is expected to start the year as the team's quarterback, but Fields has a chance to usurp Dalton at just about any point depending on how things go for both quarterbacks.
