3 years agoNew Orleans Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas (ankle) sent out a somewhat cryptic tweet on Monday morning. The tweet read, "They tried to damage your reputation. You saved theirs by not telling your side of the story." While it's certainly an elusive and cryptic tweet, it's also one that can rather clearly be connected to his current tense relationship with the Saints. Prior to the tweet, reports had surfaced that claimed Thomas had ignored team officials' attempts to contact him in regards to his recovery from injury last year. Saints head coach Sean Payton declined to comment on the tweet. Thomas, who is expected to be out for at least another month or two after undergoing ankle surgery, will likely be seeing his name popping up in trade talks soon due to the tension between him and the organization.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
