Wily Peralta Tagged For Five Runs In Sunday's Game
3 years agoDetroit Tigers starting pitcher Wily Peralta pitched five innings in his start against the Cleveland Indians on Sunday. He allowed six hits, one walk and five runs, though only two of them were earned. He struck out four batters in the game. Through 11 games (10 starts) on the year, Peralta has a 3.48 ERA and a 1.20 WHIP. While those are solid marks, he's clearly been a bit lucky. He entered Sunday's game with a 4.93 xERA on the year as well as a minuscule 14.1% strikeout rate. He can be left on waivers in all fantasy leagues. His next start will be against the Indians once again on Saturday.
