Matt Manning Gives Up Six Runs In Loss To Indians
3 years agoDetroit Tigers starting pitcher Matt Manning had a rough outing against the Cleveland Indians on Friday. He pitched four innings and allowed 10 hits, no walks and six earned runs while striking out three. He earned the loss, dropping his record to 2-5 on the year. Manning has really struggled in his first tour of the majors this year. Over nine starts, he has a 6.33 ERA and a 1.55 WHIP to go along with a 1.8 K/BB ratio. His most alarming stat might be his minuscule 11.9% strikeout rate. He can't be trusted for fantasy purposes quite yet, but dynasty managers should remain patient with him for now. He'll make his next start on Thursday against the Baltimore Orioles.
