Ryan O'Hearn Homers And Drives In Three Runs
3 years agoKansas City Royals first baseman/designated hitter Ryan O'Hearn had a strong day at the plate against the Chicago White Sox on Wednesday. He went 1-for-2 with a walk, a home run and three RBI. The home run was his ninth of the year. O'Hearn has seen consistent playing time since the team traded away Jorge Soler at the trade deadline. He has regularly been hitting right in the heart of the team's lineup, starting at both first base and designated hitter. He has some clear power upside with an 11.7% barrel rate and 15.8 degree average launch angle on the year. However, he's hitting just .226 with a .236 xBA and needs to show more consistency before warranting serious fantasy consideration.
