Keston Hiura Lands On COVID Injured List At Triple-A
3 years agoMilwaukee Brewers infielder Keston Hiura, who is currently at Triple-A Nashville, was placed on the COVID-19 injured list on Tuesday. Hiura was optioned to Triple-A on July 30 after the team acquired Rowdy Tellez and Eduardo Escobar. He hasn't appeared in a Triple-A game since this most recent demotion. It's been a nightmare season for Hiura. Over 59 games with the Brewers, he has slashed .166/.257/.302 with just four home runs and 76 strikeouts. There's a solid chance he'll spend the rest of the year at Triple-A as the Brewers have retooled their offense for the stretch.
